Medal Test in September!

Date for diary! Our next set of UKA medal tests are booked for Saturday 23th September at West Felton Village Hall!

Whether you are a beginner or an advanced dancer, medals are a perfect way to enhance your confidence in the steps, technique, performance skills and much more. They are great fun and a great confidence boost!

You can take a medal in Ballroom, Latin (or both if you wish) and you dance on the day with either a choice of Ross or your dance partner. The number of dances you need to learn depends on the level you enter at. Currently, Intro is 1 dance, Bronze is 2, Silver is 3 and Gold is 4. They are of your choice, though Ross can advise on which dances may suit you better.

We usually recommend around 6 weeks of preparation for your medals but feel free to start as soon as you like. As before, if you unable to attend the day itself, you can be have a video exam at an earlier date, which the examiner watches back on the day.

We proudly boast a 100% pass success rate with many of our dancers achieving top marks. As a requirement for those of you who would like to take part in medal competitions, the UKA require you to have done a medal test in the last 12 months.

If you would like to take part in the medal test, please contact Ross.
